- 4 eggs
- 2 whole wheat pitas
- 1 tablespoon butter
- pepper for seasoning
- handful of washed kale
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Heat the two pitas in the oven while you start cooking.
- Place 1 teaspoon of butter in a frying pan.
- Pan fry can on medium to high heat for a few minutes until it turns a vibrant green.
- Once the kale is cooked, set aside.
- Mix eggs and milk in a bowl. Add seasoning.
- Place another teaspoon of butter in the pan for frying and cook eggs.
- Remove pitas from oven and line then with remaining butter.
- Fill pitas with kale and eggs.
- Enjoy!

- 1 t baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup sugar

- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- Preheat the oven to 350°.
- In a large bowl mix sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla.

Simple, delicious, and low sugar Apple and Nectarine pies each with a warm, flaky crust.
- 2 cups whole wheat-flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 6 apples washed and chopped into pieces<a
- 6 nectarines washed and chopped into pieces
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 of a cup of water
- cinnamon – for sprinkling
- For the crust:
- In a bowl combine flour, salt, and butter until the mixture is crumby.
- Next add in water until a ball is formed.
- Divide the ball in half and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- For the Pie:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Roll out your pie crusts and place them in your pie dishes.
- Place chopped apples and nectarines into their own respective pie dishes.
- Add 2 TB of butter to each pie
- Pour half of the 1/2 of water on each pie.
- Sprinkle the top of the apple pie with cinnamon.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until the crust is fully cooked.

- Pour into greased baking pan. I used 2 9inch cake pans.
- Bake according to box instructions. I baked mine for 25 minutes

- Crust
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Filling
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 (9 oz) dried figs (rehydrated)
- Topping
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup uncooked oats
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Let the figs soak overnight in a bowl of water.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9 inch cake pan.
- To make the crust, in a small bowl mix all of the “crust” ingredients above together.
- Press the crust into the 9in cake pan
- For the filling, in a large skillet combine filling ingredients over a medium heat.
- Frequently stir fig. Cook for 5-10 minutes until the figs absorb most of the water.
- Pour fig mixture on top of the crust in the cake pan.
- In a small bowl mix together the topping ingredients.
- Spread the topping ingredients over the fig mixture.
- Bake 20-25 minutes until the golden brown
